On Saturday, May 5^th Locals Only artist Kevin Wesaquate, and Elder-in-Training Carmen Blackstar led a workshop for Locals Only. At the workshop, Kevin shared strategies with our Locals Only youth artists for asserting your voice through spoken word. The youth were able to gain some valuable advice in sharing their perspective through poetry. Elder-in-Training Carmen Blackstar shared Indigenous plant teachings with the youth artists.
