On Saturday July 14^th, the carts were taken out to a new location beside the Riversdale Boathouse, where we started up our first youth led project by Brianna Painchaud! The project had the initiative of making dreamcatchers while engaging in conversation about cultural practices with the people of Riversdale. The public was welcomed by the youth, and the meaning of dreamcatchers and its cultural practice was passed on to the local community while those who stopped by told of their cultural practices and stories! The weather was very windy, which caused some trouble with materials flying away, but we had meaningful conversations with the ranges of ages who came and made a dreamcatcher.
