The youth were out in the community on Tuesday, July 3rd, at the Riversdale BID. The art project at the carts was creating banners to say any desired message. The message could be any length, short or long, and people could also draw a picture. These banners were then put up into the community so people could share their voice. People were also encouraged to take a photo of their banner once they were put up, and post it to the hashtag #raiseyourbanner on Instagram or Facebook. The youth will be out again with banner making on Wednesday July 11th. If you are interested in creating a banner, we invite you to show us your voice out in the world on Instagram!
