Locals Only Artist Kevin Wesaquate and Project Coordinator Michael Peterson had the opportunity to speak about Kevin’s project misaskwatomina at the Saskatoon Community Foundation’s event Many Voices Together on Tuesday, June 12th at Persephone Theatre. The Saskatoon Community Foundation has generously supported Kevin’s project, allowing more misaskwatomina orchards to be planted in areas throughout Riversdale. In addition, Kevin performed a few selections of his spoken-word poetry at the event.
