As part of his project Somewhere Between a Chicken and a T-Rex, Jordan Schwab led a workshop for youth involved with Locals Only. Jordan created three mobile art and food carts that will be used as a mobile market this summer. On the carts, Jordan presented his art with two very disparate aesthetics of Riversdale: a clash of what is coming with that which has always seemed to have been there. At the workshop, Jordan invited the youth to respond by adding their thoughts to the carts’ benches through paint, marker, and collage. What became of this workshop is 6 benches decorated with the perspectives of a handful of teens who are the youth artists on the Locals Only project.
