Aden Bowman SEED Class

The Seed program is a grade 10 program at Aden Bowman Collegiate Institute that integrates Wellness 10 with Food Studies and Horticulture 10. This half-day program provides students with the opportunity to improve their own health by engaging in a wide variety of physical activities, growing and preparing good food, and critically thinking about lifestyle choices. The Food By Ward Saskatoon project is based on a similar project that was done by the Toronto Food Policy Council (TFPC). The Seed class worked on this project together with the Saskatoon Food Council. This project aims to give information about the different food assets and food issues in our city and more specifically, in the different wards.
